    Dear Pilgrim*,

There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure. I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes, redemptive mistakes.

Some moments can never be forgotten.

Either because every minute is an opportunity to feel that life is worth living. Which is exactly what comes to my mind reviewing the 2018 programs.

Or because they make you question yourself, your purpose and the meaning of life. But honestly, those are the levers that guide you forward and protect you from standing still and fall backwards. Be grateful of your mistakes!

Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world.

You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re moving forward.

If you dare to take aim, even badly, it is already a beginning. And as you go, you can fix it.

So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life. Make your mistakes, next year and forever.

    Just in case…
