Dana is a mom, wife, athlete, educator, philanthropist, and travel enthusiast. She’s passionate about health and well-being, focusing on mental health wellness & cancer research and believes the outdoors are a way to connect with oneself. Her travel moto to say “yes” to new experiences has led her to becoming a Walking Mentor. Within this mentorship model, promotion for self-growth while exploring new places is at the heart of how she wants to leave an imprint on others. Dana holds credentials in Transformative Experience Design, Integration & Transformation with Dr. Suzy Ross and The Walking Mentorship Foundation Program. Dana is on the Board of the Transformational Travel Institute, a non-profit advancing wellbeing, peace, eco-consciousness and stewardship through transformational travel. With her background as a Special Educator and extensive coaching accreditations, her commitment to help people evolve is a driving force for being a Walking Mentor. She enjoys leading by example and meeting like-minded individuals while being in Nature. She believes that the most powerful thing a traveler brings home is a different way of seeing and being in the world.
Dana has attended three Walking Mentorship (WM) programs (as of June 2026):
- Slow Down London, two and half day-program
- Destination You Costa de Vicentina Portugal, one-week program
- Alumni San Francisco, one-day program
This year she will participate in the Walking Mentorship Parent and Child Program and the Kumano Kodo in Japan. She plans to hold a Walking Mentorship Program in Southern Oregon in September as well assist in WM San Francisco and scouting the WM Mountains to Sound Greenway in Seattle area (being held during the Transformative Experience Symposium in January 2027).
