One small step for man, one giant leap for Walking Mentorship

One of the biggest lessons I have learned since my early days outdoors was that we don’t walk what we want; we walk what we can. It sounds like an obvious concept, but at its core, it is very challenging to accept. Fortunately, this capacity has become an essential dimension in decision-making at the Walking Mentorship.

Since our inception, we have received many requests to join our organization as mentors or check the possibility of implementing our methodology and programs in different countries. We were always confused about giving a proper answer because we didn’t have one.

It was clear that we had so much to learn, experiment, finetune and pivot that the idea of growth, scale or making it more available was pretty uncomfortable. We just couldn’t walk any faster. We accept it and reply that we could have a better answer one day.

The idea is still scary, but after more than eight years, 1500+ people going through our programs and thousands of kilometres covering some of the most beautiful paths on Earth, we are finally ready to take one small step for man but one giant leap for Walking Mentorship.

We have designed an accreditation process that will prepare people to become walking mentors able to deliver our methodology and programs anywhere they live on the planet. And the reason for doing it is very simple. We know what we can do. We can change the world one person at a time, one step at a time.

Surprisingly with a couple of announcements online, we have received a handful of interested replies, which leaves us with a good feeling that we are about to embark on an adventure with some beautiful people to meet our better version. We will have a webinar on the 17th of March to explain our approach to some brave pioneers, and you may be one of them. If you are interested, message us at contact@walkingmentorship.com, and we will revert with the coordinates.

Less grey hair, but also less experience 🙂 If we could only imagine 🙂

WHY DON’T YOU BRING YOUR TEAM ON A WALK WITH US?

One of our programs that keeps surprising us when we compare time invested with impact delivered goes by the name of One day with your Team and is focused on team development.

Our Program, One day with your Team, helps you unlock your team’s potential and unleash communication and trust. Within a short period, your team will experience a mixture of fun, physical exercise, companionship, beautiful landscapes, and the opportunity to slow down and reconnect.
